County Board District 2: Carolyn Quinn
Carolyn is thrilled to be a recently involved activist for the local Democratic Party. Her objective is to staff precincts with both judges and poll watchers in order to prevent the possibility of election fraud in our neighborhoods. It doesn't matter what kind of machines are used to tabulate the votes if we don't have Democrats in there to oversee the operation of that machinery.
Carolyn also intends to see that local Democratic voters are all contacted by a representative of the party. Voters can help by identifying themselves. Email us at: info@mchenrydems.com.
District 2 includes the McHenry Avenue/Randall Road corridor, most of Crystal Lake, some of Lakewood and some of Cary. Our part of the county has the greatest population center, and we want better representation in local government.
Carolyn is proud to see two incredibly talented and qualified women running for County Board in District 2 this year: Anita Harmon and Jill Mawhinney. She has been active on the campaigns of Mayor Bill Gentes, Trustee Rich Garling, Senator Barack Obama, and several other fabulous candidates.
