County Board District 3: Dan Giallombardo

I've been, in varying degrees, active in Democratic politics since the time of Jack Kennedy. I cut classes in Junior High School (AKA Middle School) to hear him give a speech in a nearby shopping center . I was so captivated by him, so moved by his use of language, that I decided that if I were able to vote, it would be for him.

As time went on, I served in the United States Army, and spent some time in the Republic of South Vietnam. Later, I joined the United States Navy.

I live in Cary, and I am retired from the Cary Police Department. I have a wife, two daughters and a grandson. I remain as active in politics as time and family obligations allow, and hope to remain so for the foreseeable future.

The Democratic Party of McHenry County meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. Our meetings are open to the public. We welcome new faces, and we hope you will join us at our next meeting. More…
