Our favorite radio station is Chicago's Air America affiliate, WCPT 820 AM, Chicago's Progressive Talk.
A graduate of Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bob Ludwig has worked in the data processing field for more than 32 years, principally in the area of information security. Bob is currently working for EKC, Inc. in Rosemont, IL providing products and services related to information security management.
With his wife of 32 years, Sherrie, they moved to McHenry County from Chicago in 1997. Together they owned and operated Crystal Manor Stable providing riding lessons to the Crystal Lake, Cary, McHenry, Woodstock, and Huntley park districts as well as private students. The stable was sold in 2003 and they moved to their current home just east of Harvard.
Bob became a member of the McHenry County Democratic Party in 2004. He serves as a Democratic precinct representative in the Chemung 01 precinct of Harvard.
Bob’s top priority is to increase District 6 representation in the Democratic Party. Comprised of almost the entire western half of McHenry County, District 6 is the most challenging of the districts. It is geographically the largest district and the most rural. It includes the towns Hebron, Harvard, Marengo, and Union. It also includes much of Sun City.
